About FirmLedger
FirmLedger is an open, searchable directory for companies, startups, agencies, products, services, and organizations. We make useful business information easier to discover, understand, reference, and keep current.
Our goal is straightforward: provide a structured public destination where people can discover businesses and where organizations can maintain a clear, useful presence on the web.

FirmLedger is designed around public discovery. Companies and organizations can establish a structured presence in the directory, provide relevant context, and keep their information maintained over time.
02
A company name alone rarely tells the full story. FirmLedger brings together websites, categories, descriptions, logos, services, and other useful context into organized public profiles that are easier for people to understand and reference.
03
Business information changes. FirmLedger supports maintained profiles, canonical URLs, searchable records, and public feeds so useful company information can remain easier to discover as organizations evolve.
How FirmLedger works
FirmLedger provides a structured environment for discovering and maintaining information about organizations. The system is built around public profiles rather than short-lived promotional pages.
Search and browse company profiles by name, category, industry, website, or other available directory information.
Organizations can submit relevant company information and create a public profile that provides visitors with useful context and direct access to the organization's official web presence.
Company information can change over time. FirmLedger provides mechanisms for organizations to establish ownership and maintain information associated with their presence in the directory.
Important clarification on editing
FirmLedger uses email verification to help establish that a person claiming a company profile has access to an appropriate business email address. However, successfully claiming an existing profile does not, by itself, automatically grant direct editing permissions for every piece of information already associated with that listing.
The email address used to claim a profile is primarily used to verify and establish an official ownership relationship with the company listing. Claiming a profile should therefore be understood as an ownership or representation verification step, rather than an automatic authorization to modify all existing listing data.
To access the full management and direct editing capabilities available to listing owners, you should create an account or sign in using the same email address associated with the listing and use that account when submitting or maintaining your company information.
If you have successfully claimed an existing company profile but did not originally create the listing, you can still request changes to its published information. Contact the FirmLedger team through the Contact page and provide the company information associated with the profile, together with a clear description of the changes you would like reviewed and implemented.
For the fastest review, include the company name, the FirmLedger profile URL, the current information that needs to be changed, and the exact replacement information you would like considered. Where appropriate, additional information may be requested to confirm the legitimacy of the requested changes.
Information quality
FirmLedger is intended to provide useful context rather than simply collect company names. Clear descriptions, accurate websites, appropriate categories, recognizable branding, and maintained information all contribute to a more useful directory.
Profiles are structured to make essential company information easier to scan and understand without unnecessary complexity.
Public profiles, canonical URLs, search functionality, and feeds help make company information accessible beyond a single visit to the directory.
Businesses evolve, which is why maintaining accurate company information is an important part of keeping a useful directory.
Where available, listings provide visitors with a path to the organization's own website so they can verify information directly from the source.
FirmLedger
Whether you are discovering a new company, maintaining an existing profile, or looking for a clearer way to reference business information, FirmLedger is built around simple, structured, searchable company profiles.
